A piece done in collaboration with Danishta Rivero. 16 tracks of snare drum rolls were recorded to a 24 track 2″ Studer tape machine.
Leaf Shadows [6:10]
A composition exploring signal processing control with sunlight light. A max/MSP patch recorded the fluctuating light patterns in a fixed outdoor location. This recording of data then served as an automated controller for various software parameters effecting amplified acoustic instruments.
The Bridge [6:01]
Many samples compiled from recordings of the Golden Gate Bridge’s anatomy. Recorded with contact mics i was interested in capturing the internal sounds of the large structure and play them back in an live performative format using a sampler.
